New website is mobile friendly and offers real-time updates
In the ongoing efforts to simplify the MiBid online auction process, the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget launched an enhanced website at michigan.gov/mibid that is mobile friendly and offers real-time updates and bid alerts.
"This new site allows users to personalize their settings, search auctions by location and see an image gallery of auction items," said Seth Wright, surplus program manager. "Visitors can easily navigate the site to score a great deal."
DTMB is responsible for collecting property that has been seized by police, voluntarily surrendered at airports or no longer needed by government agencies, colleges and universities and make it available for public purchase through online auction and seasonal one-day sales at the MiStore. The site features popular items such as cars, furniture, tools and electronics.
