Lansing Brownfield Tour

As Michigan’s capitol city, located on the banks of the grand river, downtown Lansing has been a center of industrial and commercial commerce for generations. However, economic, industrial growth, and social hardships have left blighted, underutilized, and environmentally contaminated properties for our future generations to manage.

At the close of Day 2 (Thursday's) sessions, conference attendees will have a unique opportunity to walk through Lansing’s past and see what it has in store for it’s future.  Join EGLE staff for a tour of several well-known Lansing area redevelopment projects.  Tour highlights will include the Lansing Lugnuts Baseball Stadium (the first redevelopment project), the Lansing City Market, and the former Ottawa Power Station art deco building which was redeveloped into the Accident Fund.

This conference will provide up to 13 CEHs/PDHs for professional engineers.
