SARA Title III, also known as the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, requires facilities to report information to state and local officials that can be vital to the safety of their community.

These SARA Title III Tier Two Workshops provided an overview of program regulations, reporting requirements, emergency planning requirements and a step-by-step tutorial on logging into Tier II Manager and initiating a Tier II Annual Report.  Time was also set aside to answer questions and provide assistance in logging into Tier II Manager.

Attendees also received the 17th edition of the Michigan Facilities' Guide to SARA Title III, Emergency Planning and Release Reporting.

Continuing Education Credits (CECs): This workshop was approved for 0.3 Drinking Water
and Wastewater CECs in the managerial category, and 3 CEHs for Professional Engineers.
