Emergency Preparedness for Michigan Facilities and their Communities
SARA Title III, also known as the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, requires facilities to report information to state and local officials that can be vital to the safety of their community.
The SARA Title III Tier Two Workshops will provide an overview of program regulations, reporting requirements, emergency planning requirements and a step-by-step tutorial on logging into Tier II Manager and initiating a Tier II Annual Report. Time will also be set aside to answer questions and provide assistance in logging into Tier II Manager.
Continuing Education Credits (CECs): This workshop is approved for 0.3 Drinking Water and Wastewater CECs in the managerial category, and 3 CEHs for Professional Engineers.

EGLE is also offering a webinar to provide an overview of the basic requirements of SARA Title lll Tier ll Reporting and a step by step tutorial to logging into Tier ll Manager Program and initiating a 2019 Tier ll Annual Report. The webinar is geared towards facilities storing chemicals that require a Safety Data Sheet and needing to submit a Tier II Report in Michigan. This webinar is also applicable to those that may have never reported in the past or are unfamiliar with the online reporting process in Michigan.
