EGLE director addresses Women in Leadership Climate Summit

(As Women's History Month ends, MI Environment highlights EGLE Director Liesl Clark's remarks at the Women in Leadership Climate Summit.)
Liesl Clark, director of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, recently addressed the Women in Leadership Climate Summit, organized by three environmental organizations.
In livestream remarks, Clark focused her remarks on EGLE's climate work with the Michigan Council on Climate Solutions, the Flip Your Fleet program part of Michigan's commitment to carbon neutrality, and the role electric school buses have in the local electric grid.
Clark joined U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, U.S. Representative Haley Stevens, and Dr. Cecelia Martinez, White House Council on Environmental Quality at the virtual summit.
