Nonpoint Source Watershed Planning Request for Proposals (RFP) Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Information
Contact: Bob Sweet 517-512-9765
This funding opportunity is now closed, applications under this RFP are no longer being accepted. The information below is being retained as examples for future watershed management planning funding opportunities.
The Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) requested proposals to develop new or update existing watershed management plans. Under this RFP, about $201,000 in federal Clean Water Act section 205(j) funding was available for watershed planning projects. The timeline, application and award processes were similar to previous years. We strongly suggest that applicants consult with Nonpoint Source (NPS) staff as they work with partners and stakeholders to develop potential projects. The RFP, appendices, and all forms and instructions are posted below.
A webinar describing the FY22 watershed management planning grant process can be accessed at the following link. Registration is required but it is free.
