Storm Water programs
Storm Water programs
The goal of Michigan's Storm Water Programs is to protect and preserve Michigan's water resources through pollution prevention measures. EGLE works to accomplish this goal through a two step process. First, EGLE has been authorized by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency to manage a storm water discharge permit program. Second, EGLE is implementing a compliance assistance approach to the permit program.
