By the Numbers 2021: EGLE's GovDelivery subscriptions increase over 25,000

Michiganders have access to a wealth of information on efforts to protect Michigan's environment and health through email distribution lists specific to more than 70 different topics.
Subscribers can choose from lists including press releases, training and outreach events, Great Lakes and other water-related topics, and many others.
And interest in this information is growing. The number of subscribers to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy's GovDelivery listservs increased by 25,626 in 2021. GovDelivery connects the work we do at EGLE with the people we serve by providing information on a variety of topics, ranging from climate change to training to the Great Lakes.
Here's some additional EGLE GovDelivery statistics:
- 73 listservs on a range of topics.
- 1,397 EGLE bulletins were sent in 2021.
- Four new lists started in 2021: JB Sims Generating Station and Harbor Island Environmental Investigations, Ottawa County; Michigan Indoor Radon Program Updates; Republic Industrial & Energy Solutions, LLC (RIES) Hazardous Waste Facility; and Dow Chemical Company Licensing and Corrective Action.
