UP Cross Connections In-Person Course
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) developed this shortened version of cross connections, its laser focused on learning the bare essentials. The focus on being what is a cross connection, the main causes and concerns of cross connections, what are laws regarding cross connections, and the 5 main ways for protecting systems from back flow. We will look at a few real situations that were encountered in different facilities out in the field.
The Course is approved for 0.2 CECs in the technical category for drinking water and wastewater operators. To be eligible for CECs, you must attend the entire session, and be a paid registrant.
