Join the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) for the tenth annual Upper Peninsula Materials Management Forum on April 26-27, 2023.  Traditionally, the forum has focused on the latest solid waste management and recycling issues, with a targeted interest toward facilities located in the Upper Peninsula.  However, with the Governor’s signing of an eight-bill package modernizing Michigan’s solid waste law last December, this year the forum will be the first of many events focused on the law changes and EGLE’s plans for implementing the changes.   The goal of the U.P. Materials Management Forum is to foster compliance and economic development, establish sustainable materials management practices, and promote efforts to meet our MI Healthy Climate Plan goals.

The forum will feature three Zoom sessions on the mornings of April 26 and 27 from 8 to 12:15.   Links to the sessions will be provided both in the registration confirmation email and via email prior to the event.

REGISTRATION FEE: $20

This event will provide up to 6 Continuing Education/Professional Development hours.
