This webinar will provide a background on disinfection, Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act rule requirements, why calculate the concentration time (CT), consequences of not meeting CT requirements, monitoring needed, how to calculate CT and determine compliance, operational practices.

We will also walk through examples of a water treatment plant scenario, how to identify awarded log removal credit for the treatment process, determine needed disinfection log inactivation, identify disinfection segments, monitoring locations, monitoring frequencies, and baffling factors
