LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Energy Office (MEO) will host an Electric Vehicle (EV) Forum, including an EV ride-and-drive and panel discussions, on Wednesday, June 20, in Lansing.
Sponsored by Midwest EVOLVE and Greater Lansing Area Clean Cities, the event will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will feature a ride-and-drive of several EV models. Panel topics include adoption of EVs by the public; and EV fleets and support by public entities, such as schools, state government, universities and others.
The forum will take place at Michigan Agency for Energy, 7109 W. Saginaw Highway, Lansing.
The event agenda can be found here.
The Midwest (EVOLVE) Electric Vehicle Opportunities: Learning, eVents, Experience project is a partnership between the American Lung Association and eight Midwestern Clean Cities coalitions in seven states. The purpose of the project is to educate consumers, as well as public and private fleets, about the performance and environmental advantages of electric vehicles.
Greater Lansing Area Clean Cities (GLACC) is a coalition of stakeholders working to grow the market for alternative fuels and advanced vehicles.
