LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Christian Rodriguez of East Lansing to the Michigan Board of Real Estate Appraisers.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board licenses and regulates the service of more than 6,000 real estate appraisers.
“Christian’s experience in financial practice gives me confidence he will represent the people of Michigan well,” Snyder said.
Rodriguez is an auditor at the public accounting firm Maner Costerisan. He previously worked as an accountant for the Spartan Hospitality Group. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Michigan State University. Rodriguez will represent the general public and fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Robin Wybenga.
Rodriguez will serve the remainder of a four-year term to expire June 30, 2020. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
