Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment, reappointment to the Residential Builders' and Maintenance and Alteration Contractors' Board

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Jeffrey Donius of Shelby Township and the reappointment of William Adcock of Lansing to the Residential Builders' and Maintenance and Alteration Contractors' Board.
The nine-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with licensing and regulating the construction, alteration or improvement of residential structures.
"Jeffrey and William are both experienced in the construction field," Snyder said. “I am confident these individuals will be a positive addition to the board.”
Donius is the president and owner of Premier Veneers, a decorative concrete flooring company. He holds a maintenance and alteration contractor’s license specialized in concrete work, painting and decorating. He holds a bachelor’s degree in government and international relations from Saint John’s University and a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania. He will represent maintenance and alteration contractors and replace Thomas Thelen.
Adcock is the executive director of R. E. Olds Transportation Museum and the owner and president of WM Adcock Builders. Adcock served in the Air National Guard as a licensed private pilot. He is a member of the Michigan State University President’s Club, the Gilmore Car Museum, Classic Car Club of America and the Michigan Region of the Classic Car Club. He will continue to represent licensed residential builders.
Donius will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring March 31, 2020 and Adcock will serve a four-year term expiring March 21, 2022. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
