Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the State Plumbing Board

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Timothy Danielak of Beaverton to the State Plumbing Board.
The seven-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the licensure of plumbers to ensure the integrity of Michigan's plumbing industry.
“Timothy’s years of experience give me confidence that he will represent Michigan plumbers well, and I thank him for his service on this board,” Snyder said.
Danielak is the president and business representative for United Association Local 85. He is a licensed journeyman plumber and serves as a council member for the city of Beaverton. Danielak holds an associate degree in industrial training from Washtenaw Community College and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management at Rowan University. He will represent licensed journeyman plumbers and replace Daniel Nixon.
Danielak will serve a three-year term expiring July 31, 2021. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
