April 30, 2017: Window Film Day
WHEREAS, window film aids in the savings of significant energy in the United States; and,
WHEREAS, window film provides a more safe and secure environment for home owners, public buildings and retail establishments; and,
WHEREAS, window film helps screen out dangerous solar rays from impacting the health of commercial drivers to help protect them from skin cancer and their eyes from solar glare; and,
WHEREAS, window film has been proven to be one of the most cost-effective means of reducing our carbon footprint; and,
WHEREAS, window film provides entrepreneurial opportunities for small business people to serve their communities; and,
WHEREAS, window film offers significant economic benefits at all levels including employment, energy savings, improved health, and the reduction of our carbon footprint;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Rick Snyder, governor of Michigan, do hereby proclaim April 30, 2017 as Window Film Day in Michigan.
