May 17-23, 2015: Eosinophilic Awareness Week

WHEREAS, Eosinophilic Disease is a devastating autoimmune disease that affects children and adults; and,

WHEREAS, Eosinophilic Disease has no known cure; and,

WHEREAS, families in Michigan and throughout the United States are known to be affected by this disease; and,

WHEREAS, promoting awareness of the disease will aid in funding research, improving diagnosis and finding a cure.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Rick Snyder, governor of Michigan, do hereby proclaim May 17-23, 2015 as Eosinophilic Disease Week in Michigan.
