Residents have various ways to enroll in Flint Medicaid program

Flint, MI – Gov. Rick Snyder reminds Flint residents that Medicaid coverage is available beginning today to an estimated 15,000 children and pregnant women who have been served by Flint’s water system. The Medicaid plan is available at no cost to residents with incomes up to 400 percent of the federal poverty level.
Residents can sign up:

- By phone at 1-855-789-5610
(TTY 866-501-5656 for persons with hearing and speech disabilities)
*Phone hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 7 PM
- In-person at a Deptartment of Health and Human Services office located at:

- Parents can sign up their children with a Pathways to Potential caseworker in any Flint-area public school.
