Jose’ Sanchez III

Jose’ started his career at the Mason Training Center as an apprentice carpenter in 2001. After 4 years, he earned a successful completion of the program and became a Journeyman carpenter. As an apprentice and a journeyman, he has been a part of numerous construction projects throughout the state of Michigan. After 15 years in the field, he decided to pass on his knowledge to the future apprentices.

Jose’ is passionate about helping others and decided to make a career change in July of 2016 as the new instructor at the Mason Training Center. During this time, he has taken many classes to teach his students the correct, safe and proficient ways to tackle any project out there. Jose’ is a conscientious leader and is committed to help produce the best carpenters and leaders in the industry. He is currently a certified level II Instructor through the Carpenters International Training Fund and Penn State. He is also the Facility Coordinator at the Wayland Training Center for the Michigan Statewide Carpenters and Millwrights Joint Apprenticeship Training Fund.

Jose’ is excited about the possibility of bringing opportunities to others.
