MIOSHA Invites Employers and Workers to Goodwill Industries to Learn about the Benefits of Workplace Safety

July 31, 2018 - Collaboration is an essential part of improving workplace safety and health. The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) and Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids have teamed up to provide Michigan employers and employees an informational update on workplace safety and health of Michigan workers; new reporting rules, updated and revised standards, goals and emphasis areas, significant cases, and best practices.

Employers and workers are invited to this free event on Thursday, August 2, 2018; from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids Employment Center. Coffee and networking start at 9:00 a.m. with “Coffee with MIOSHA” where there will be an opportunity to informally meet with MIOSHA staff. Email Gloria McMullan or call 517-853-3093 to register.
