The Boiler Division is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the Michigan Boiler Code which includes conducting inspections of boiler installations and repairs and in-service inspections of existing boilers. The division also investigates boiler accidents and violations of the Michigan Boiler Code and assures proper boiler permits have been issued.
