A written report must be submitted if a camper has an accident or illness that results in being sent home, an overnight stay in a hospital, clinic, or results in a death of a camper. In addition, fire occurrences that result in injury, loss of life, or facility damage in excess of $1000 shall be reported.
In either case, the camp shall complete the department’s incident report and notify the department within 48 hours of the occurrence by email at LARA-AFCCampsBCHS@Michigan.gov.
