Pharmacy NAPLEX and MPJE Examination
Effective May 1, 2018, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) will begin evaluating candidates’ eligibility to sit for the North American Pharmacist Licensing Examination (NAPLEX) and the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE). Applicants applying for a Michigan pharmacist license by examination or endorsement must have obtained a passing score on both the NAPLEX and the MPJE prior to submitting an application for licensure to Michigan. If you passed the NAPLEX for another state, you must contact the NABP to have your score released to Michigan after passing the MPJE.
In addition, an applicant whose pharmacist license in Michigan has been lapsed for more than three years must retake the MPJE and/or the NAPLEX, depending on the length of time the license was lapsed, prior to submitting an application for relicensure to Michigan.
Please go directly to NABP’s website at https://nabp.pharmacy for more information and to register for the exam(s).
