Michigan Care Access Referral Exchange (MiCARE)

Welcome to the Michigan Care Access Referral Exchange (MiCARE), Michigan’s comprehensive behavioral health referral platform. The network is hosted by Bamboo Health’s OpenBeds® solution and is currently being launched in phases throughout the state. MiCARE will incorporate the spectrum of behavioral health services, providing treatment and facility availability and the capability to send digital referrals to place patients into appropriate, available care as crisis responders and other professionals identify an acute need. Additionally, in partnership with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), MiCARE will fulfill the legislative requirement to create a Psychiatric Bed Registry.
