MIOSHA has collaborated with the Lansing Area Safety Council to offer the Defensive Driving/Basic Driver Improvement Course (at no charge to attendees) throughout Fiscal Year 2020. This course helps drivers recognize hazards, understand defense, and react correctly in time to avoid a potential accident. From new to seasoned drivers or commercial fleet to personal drivers, this course provides practical knowledge and techniques to avoid traffic collisions and violations.
Classes will be held in multiple locations throughout Michigan and will start at 8am and end at 12pm. All course attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Class sizes are small (limited to 20 participants) and will fill up quickly so sign up as soon as you can.

Monday, November 18, 2019 at Southwestern Michigan College in Niles, MI
Friday, December 13, 2019 at Macomb Community College in Clinton Township, MI
Monday, April 13, 2020 at Lansing Area Safety Council in Lansing, MI
Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Great Lakes Safety Training Center in Midland, MI
Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc in Grand Rapids, MI
