The Michigan Career and Technical Institute (MCTI) is fully accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), assuring the public that MCTI's training programs are of a high caliber in comparison with other good schools in NCA's 19-state region. The NCA CASI is a non-governmental, voluntary organization that accredits more than 9,000 public and private schools in 19 states, the Navajo Nation, and the Department of Defense Dependents' Schools worldwide.
MCTI has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) since 1979. CARF is the nationally recognized accreditation authority for organizations serving persons with disabilities.
In addition, MCTI's training programs are approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
