How long will the Agency's new COVID-19 Returning to Work policy be in effect?

The Agency is continually monitoring the rapid developments in the COVID-19 pandemic and will update policy in accordance with state and federal law and guidance.  At this time, the Agency cannot predict a definite end date to these policies due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in federal and state law. However, the Agency does not expect the COVID-19 Returning to Work policies to indefinitely remain in effect.

Currently, workers are eligible for the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) until the end of July 2020, and Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) until the end of December 2020. FPUC and PUA are federal programs under the CARES Act. The Agency is continually monitoring any changes or policy clarification to those programs from the U.S. Department of Labor.
