I offered my employees their jobs back, but they refused because the $600 under the CARES Act is more in benefits than they will earn working. If they refuse to come back when I offer them their jobs, will they keep collecting unemployment benefits?

Employees will not be eligible to continue receiving unemployment benefits if they refuse to work because they are currently receiving a generous weekly amount. Refusing to return to work or refusing an offer of suitable work because an employee would rather collect more in unemployment benefits is not a basis for unemployment benefit eligibility.
