What does "monetary (re) determination" mean?

You will receive a (re) determination once a decision on your claim has been made.

This also references our protest and appeal process. If you are denied, it gives you the ability to protest your claim and provide us additional documentation on why you think you may qualify for benefits.

You also have the ability to appeal your claim decision after a (re) determination and that will be sent to an administrative law judge and you will have a telephone hearing if you want to contest that.
