Jo-Ellyn H Tucker
Jo-Ellyn Tucker is an enthusiastic community leader and former practicing attorney with a deep passion for organizational leadership, nonprofit volunteer service, and stewardship. She transitioned her legal career into service-based leadership by way of volunteering at local schools, leading programs and initiatives for nonprofits, and engaging in community presentations.
Jo-Ellyn’s community work has spanned fundraising, project management, organizational team building, and relationship management. She and her husband have moved 10 times during the last 20 years, and she has used her organizational and crisis management skills to coordinate all aspects of adapting to new cities and building community leadership opportunities.
Jo-Ellyn is currently a Board Member for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region, a Founding Partner and Board President of the Investment Club, and a Board Member for the Capital Area Humane Society. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School.
