Ahmed has 10 years of experience overseas in Training and Development, particularly in Education. In the past, Ahmed worked with the US Embassy’s Education Advising Office to boost mutual understanding of education and culture to enhance social inclusion and integration of foreign students arriving to the United States. He has worked alongside the U.S. Airforce as an Instructor Supervisor and locally with the City of Dearborn. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
Ahmed has been with UIA for 3 years, and prior to becoming a Community Liaison. He served as an examiner at the Detroit Local office. His responsibilities included claim filing, fact-finding, adjudication, and overall problem solving.
As a Community Liaison for UIA, Ahmed aims at altering the widespread perception that consider immigrants as burdens to government and communities by giving them the tools that recognize them as a value added to their community and the State of Michigan.
Ahmed's area of service includes Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, Washtenaw.
