Tracy Mobley

Tracy Mobley joined the Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) in 2009 as a Limited Term Examiner in Lansing. She transferred to Detroit, worked again in Lansing, was hired permanently in Grand Rapids and then transferred to Sterling Heights in the Local Offices. During the pandemic, Tracy worked as a trainer and a lead worker. She has experience in claim filing, adjudication, problem solving, and excels in customer service. Tracy has conducted worker orientation sessions and enjoys working face-to-face with claimants.
Before working with UIA, Tracy worked in education for the Detroit Public Schools and Wayne County Community College District. Tracy also worked for Suzuki Myers teaching Japanese business English and taught English in Japan for the Aeon Corporation. Tracy has a passion for education and uses different platforms to bring knowledge to people and continues to find ways to promote education. Tracy is an avid reader and enjoys writing.
Tracy likes to travel and visit other cultures. She is also the proud mother of one bilingual son who is following his mother’s footsteps by teaching English in Japan.
Tracy's area of service includes the counties of Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Iosco, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Roscommon.
