If I am eligible to receive LWA, how much will I receive?
Eligible claimants will receive $300 per week for each of the six weeks of the LWA program in addition to their regular WBA. Payments will be issued retroactively for weeks that you have already received unemployment benefits, beginning August 1, 2020.
The program applies to the weeks ending Aug. 1, Aug. 8, Aug. 15, Aug. 22, Aug. 29, and Sept. 5. If you received a payment for any of those weeks and had a weekly benefit amount of at least $100, you will receive a $300 payment for that week. Payments will be sent out in two lump sums of $900 each only if you qualify for each of those weeks.
Note: If you waived a week during this period, you will not be eligible to receive LWA for that week.
