The Library of Michigan supports new directors leading Michigan public libraries by hosting an informal monthly, virtual meeting to learn, share, and build community. These opportunities are intended for new directors, with less than 2 years in their role, to have a common space to share with peers new to the director experience. LM staff will host the online sessions, facilitate discussions, provide short topical presentations, and provide support and assistance with questions brought to the group. The format will be flexible and no registration is required to attend the live Zoom sessions. We encourage attendees to provide feedback via an evaluation survey after each session. MiNDS sessions will be held the first Tuesday of every other month at 2:00 pm ET.
