How to Request Your Law Enforcement Employment & Training History Record

An individual can request their own Training Academy Curriculum and/or Employment and Training History by contacting their law enforcement department's designated MCOLES Network Point of Contact. 

If you are not currently employed with an agency and would like to obtain a copy of your report, complete the Personal Request for Your Law Enforcement Officer Training Academy Curriculum, Employment History, and Training Record form and send it with a copy of your driver's license to MSP-MCOLES-Licensing@michigan.gov, by FAX to 517-636-7886 or mail to:

Access to the MCOLES Network is available to MCOLES licensed law enforcement officers upon request.  Information on how to request access to use the Network can be found on the MCOLES website. 

Once access has been granted, each officer will be able to: 

  • view his/her own Individual profile (employment and in-service training history); 
  • search the MCOLES In-Service Training Course Registry; 
  • maintain his/her MCOLES Network Password; and 
  • create or delete a public password to allow his/her current employer(s) to access the Inquiry History.
