The Marshall Police Department is looking for service-oriented candidates to fill a vacancy for a Patrol Officer position. Applicants must be M.C.O.L.E.S. licensed or licensable by the date of appointment, be at least 18 years of age, and possess a minimum of an associate degree. All applicants must pass the pre-employment screening process, written exam, oral board interview and background investigation.
Effective 7-1-2021, starting pay begins at $23.42 per hour with the following step increases:
- $24.75 after six months
- $26.19 after one year
- $27.56 after two years
- $28.92 after three years
- $30.29 after four years
