Position: Deputy Sheriff
Department: Saginaw County Sheriff's Office
Status: Full-Time
Classification/Salary: $21.19 / hour ? starting base wage
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under general supervision of Road Patrol Sergeant, patrols roads of Saginaw County to enforce criminal and traffic laws and protect public and property. Responds to dispatched calls or complaints and take appropriate actions. Investigates accidents, writes reports, serves warrants, and performs related tasks to protect and serve the people of Saginaw County. Provides building security at various county and contracted facilities. Transports inmates to and from court, along with transferring inmates to and from another agency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must successfully complete the employment screening process, which may include oral evaluations, psychological, physical and drug screening, as well as a complete background investigation.
