Lincoln Charter Township Police Department Is Now Hiring a FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER

Requirements:

  • Must be MCOLES licensed or licensable by date of hire
  • Must be CPL compliant
  • Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license with no restrictions
  • No felony convictions
  • Must pass a psychological/physical exam
  • Must pass drug screening and oral assessment
  • Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice/Bachelor's Degree preferred

Departmental Information:

  • Sixteen full time officers, including Detective/Lieutenant, two Sergeants, one K9 unit
  • 24/7 patrol coverage
  • Average approximately 5,500 calls for service per year

Upon receipt and review of resumes, the Lincoln Charter Township Police Department will contact prospective candidates. Candidates will then receive application and background packets for completion. Oral board interviews will be set up with the most qualified candidates. Upon completion of oral boards, an offer will be made to candidates pending successful completion of departmental firearms qualification, field training program and probationary period of up to one year.
