The Keweenaw County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a Full-Time Road Deputy. The position is a rotating 12 hour night shift, working every other weekend. The Sheriff's Office operates a 24 hour Road Patrol, 72 hour Lockup, Marine Patrol, ORV Patrol, Snowmobile Patrol and a newly formed Search and Rescue.
Qualified applicants must be Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) Licensed or MCOLES licensable by the date of hire. Applications can be picked up in person at the Keweenaw County Sheriff's Office (5105 4th St. Eagle River, MI 49950) or obtained online at https://www.keweenawcountyonline.org/department-sheriff.php.
