The Village of Constantine is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Police Officer. We are looking for part-time as well as one full time Officer. The Village offers competitive pay, a flexible schedule along with amazing health insurance (employee pays $12.50 per week for the FAMILY plan). MERS B-2 retirement (10 year vesting). The current pay rate ranges from $21.95 to 28.75 after 4 years.
New employees are furnished with new equipment to include duty gear, uniforms and external load bearing vests.
The Village of Constantine works closely with surrounding agencies to include a mutual aid agreement with the Village of White Pigeon and has positions with the St. Joseph County Major Crimes Task Force. CPD handles approximately 1,500 calls for service yearly.
