Farmington Public Safety Department: Public Safety Officer Closing Date: July 18, 2022

The City of Farmington is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Safety Officer.  The City of Farmington is 2.7 square miles and is located in southern Oakland County.  The department consists of 23 sworn officers who are all cross trained in police, fire, and emergency medical response.  Qualified applicants will have attained a minimum of an associate's degree or its equivalent in credit hours if pursuing higher education.  Preference will be given to those applicants who are MCOLES certified/certifiable, have obtained Michigan Firefighter I and II certification, and are certified as Medical First Responders.


  • $50,587 - $75,858. Four years to top pay, laterals will be considered
  • 12 hour shifts
