Roosevelt Park Police Department: Chief of Police Closing Date: July 19, 2022

The City of Roosevelt Park seeks a new Police Chief who will lead our police department of six full-time patrol officers, a full-time Chief and several part-time officers.

The City of Roosevelt Park is located in beautiful Muskegon County, just two miles from the alluring shores of Lake Michigan. The community is one square mile, dotted with sidewalks, welcoming neighborhoods, 160 businesses and the award-winning Mona Shores Public Schools.

The next Police Chief will have the ability to work with a supportive City Council and City Manager. The Roosevelt Park residents are proud of their police department.  While many communities throughout Michigan are declining in population, Roosevelt Park saw a 12% population growth between 2010 and 2020. Residents of West Michigan understand the "quality of life" offered in our city.  The ideal candidate will bring a proven leadership style of collaboration and a desire to be seen in every part of the community.

Don't let this rare opportunity go by to lead a trusted police department in one of Michigan's safest communities.  Please send a cover letter, resume and five professional references to Frank L. Walsh, Walsh Municipal Services at

The City of Roosevelt Park is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
