The City of Saline is seeking applicants for the full-time position of police officer. The successful applicant will join a supportive, professional team dedicated to community-oriented policing and traffic safety. Applicants must be Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) licensed or licensable and be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation. The City of Saline is approximately 4.3 sq. miles with 9,200 residents, has a thriving downtown and business community, outstanding public schools and municipal parks. Starting pay is $28.94 hour ($60,426.72 annually) with a comprehensive benefit package (MERS retirement, BCBS medical), wages top out at $34.53 ($71,822.40) after 4 years. (Subject to union contract).
