This position is responsible for safeguarding human lives, protecting property, and preserving peace and order in the City. Must be committed to protecting and serving with fairness, through partnerships that improve the quality of life in the East Lansing community. This position serves as the primary point of contact for our Office of Professional Standards, Independent Police Oversight Commission, and will coordinate the department's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
