The City of Riverview is currently hiring four (4) full-time police offers and creating an eligibility list for future police officers. The detailed qualifications are available at the Police Department page on the City of Riverview's website.
Qualifications must include, at a minimum:
- High School Diploma/GED, if sponsored by a department and certified or certifiable.
- Associates degree if one has not been sponsored by a department.
- Valid driver's license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean criminal record.
- A competitive wage package is offered, with salary ranging from $47,000 - $71,000. Top pay at 36 months or see lateral pay.
We will match years of service up to our top pay, which is 36 months per letter of understanding.
Also included is a gun allowance, clothing & cleaning allowance, shift premium, paid holidays, vacation, sick time, and longevity.
