The Vicksburg Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Part-time Police Officer. The police department is currently staffed by 6 full time officers including the Chief of Police and 1 part time officer that patrol approximately 3.1 miles. The Village of Vicksburg is a rapidly growing community with approximately 3800 residents.
The successful candidate will train closely with the other full-time police officers to maintain a high quality of life for the residents, businesses and guests through the enforcement of laws and ordinances.
The candidate must be MCOLES licensed or eligible for licensing at time of application.
