The Village of Stockbridge Police Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time police officer. Current starting pay is $21/hr. Individuals with prior law enforcement experience are eligible for lateral pay increases. The applicant must have good interpersonal, public relation skills and be able to work a variety of shifts including holidays and weekends.
To be considered for the full-time position, applicant must also meet the following minimum qualifications:
The Village of Stockbridge Police Department is also willing to consider sponsorship for a highly qualified individual in the upcoming Washtenaw Community College Police Academy. Candidates will also be required to pass a comprehensive background check and complete all MCOLES pre-enrollment tests. Candidates will also be paid to attend the academy which will increase to 21$/hr after graduation.
