Carson City Police Department: Full Time Police Officer/Part Time Officer Closing Date: June 30, 2023

The Carson City Police Department in Montcalm County is hiring for full and part-time officers.

Come to Carson City where the officers are appreciated and respected by the community they serve.  Must be team oriented, willing to learn, be MCOLES certified or be able to be MCOLES certified. 

FULL TIME BENEFITS:

• Starting yearly salary of $45,760, 7 % raise each year, top pay at 5 years $64,548.
• Longevity 1% after 2 years, 2% after 3 years, 5% after 5 years.
• 13 Holidays paid in lump sum check at holiday rate. 
• 12 vacation days first year plus 1 day earned each month.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be licensed by MCOLES or have completed an Academy and able to be certified through MCOLES.
