The Hancock Police Department is looking for a School Resource Officer (SRO) to act as a liaison between the Hancock Public Schools and the Hancock Police Department. The SRO works with the school administrations and faculty to ensure the safety and well-being of the students as well as develop safety plans and programs for the school. The SRO participate in educational training and activities with the students and staff.
The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated, goal -oriented individual.
The SRO is a seasonal position and will follow the work calendar of the Hancock Public School system to include summers off. Pay will be based on experience.
