Beverly Hills Department of Public Safety is currently accepting applications to fill immediate vacancies for the position of Public Safety Officer for the Village of Beverly Hills.
A candidate must have the abilities to perform all the duties of a Public Safety Officer which includes both that of a Police Officer and a Firefighter. All applicants must satisfactorily pass oral interviews, a physical exam with drug test, a psychological exam, and a thorough background investigation in order to be considered for employment. The starting salary is $69,556 with a top pay of $94,818 in four years, plus a benefits package. Work Schedule will include 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Applicants must have a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college, and either be certified or certifiable as a Police Officer in the State of Michigan. Preference will be given to applicants will both Police and Fire certifications.
