Albion Department of Public Safety: School Resource Officer Closing Date: March 31, 2023

The Albion Department of Public Safety has an opening for a School Resource Officer with the Marshall Public Schools. This position will be considered a seasonal position with no union membership and no benefits provided. The pay rate for this position will be $35.00 per hour, with the schedule being the regular school hours and occasional special events. The officer will not work when school is closed for holiday breaks and during the summer. This position will not work or be subject to being ordered to cover road patrol. Most of the officer's time will be spent in schools located in Albion, MI which is part of the Marshall School District, with occasional assistance provided to the schools in Marshall. To be considered for this position, you must have your MCOLES certification or the ability to obtain it by August 1, 2023.
